When fighting a stronger opponent keep your distance and watch out for attacks that can break your low stance. Keep backing up if necessary until you see a chance to catch his foot or slip under him and throw him.

A final warning: in serious combat a weaker fighter can equal a stronger opponent if he has previously learned agility, reach, fighting tricks, and killing tricks. In friendly combat strength always has the advantage.

This concludes the introduction on wrestling. When I return to this topic it will be on the first trick which is found on plate 32.
