Camillo Agrippa – Chapter 2, Geometry

It may look complicated at first glance, but this diagram is actually quite simple. The purpose is to show how to lunge using geometry.

As the body and knee inclines the body travels along a straight line. The letters A thru L indicate the location of the sword tip in relation to the angle of the body and knee.


The circle with the inscribed polygons is not mentioned. Similar images are used for elsewhere for decorative purposes.
