Manciolino’s Sword and Buckler: Guardia Alta

There isn’t much to say about Guardia Alta. The stance can be narrow or wide, with either foot forward, just so long as the sword is held high and the buckler pushed out as far as it can go while at shoulder height.

For the narrow stance, the feet are about four finger-widths apart. For wide we add a foot-length to it as a starting point, as Manciolino only says to use what it convenient.
