  • Both knees are forward of the feet
  • The body is inclined forward
  • The right arm is extended
  • The eyes are looking just over the top of the right hand
  • The true edge is up and turned slightly outwards
  • The point is lowered to the level of the arm pit
  • The left arm forms a slight crescent
  • The left hand is level with the hips
  • The dagger blade is turned slightly inwards
  • The left thumb is on the flat of the blade
